Pole dance is a form of performing art, a combination of dance and gymnastics. Pole dance requires significant strength, flexibility and endurance. It involves athletic moves such as climbs, spins, and body inversions using the limbs to grip. Upper body and core strength are required in order to advance, so our classes combine core training with the pole moves to ensure people gain the strength to move on. The classes are progressive, so students are always improving in skill and technique. We try our best to ensure that everyone gets their own pole.
